Happy Valentines Day

14 Feb

Happy Valentines Day!

If you’ve never heard of the app Red Stamp, I just discovered it and it’s amazing! You can make all kinds of post cards and just use or send them electronically or you can pay and they will take care of printing and send your postcards to anyone you want. I’m pretty sure everybody I know is about to start getting postcards for all kinds of random reasons.

I hope you have a spectacular Valentines Day!

I Love February

1 Feb

Love is in the air…

I love this time of year, everybody just seems so happy and in love. All the pink and red, chocolates and everything has hearts!  This time of year kind of makes me all giddy. It makes me want to sing and dance or just get all dolled up for no reason.

It’s all so pretty in pink… and red.

Just some cute Valentine stuff I stumbled across. Now I’m pretty sure I need to make some cupcakes just like that!

To Be Continued…

2 Jan

Okay so I’ve been slacking a little on the Make Some Mondays! I blame it on the holidays and having family in town. I hope that counts. I just wanted to make sure you were aware that I will continue to do Make Something Mondays starting next week.

Until then I thought I would let you know that I’ve officially started Project Life and hope to get farther than last year, which only made it about two weeks in, so that was pretty sad. ha ha

I kicked New Years Day off with dinner and card games with the in-laws.

Here’s me and my man modeling our Phase Ten cards.

I’ve developed a better organization system to help Project Life hopefully make it all year. Well really all I did was make 12 folders in iphoto to keep track of every picture. I know, that wasn’t much of an improvement but last year I didn’t do anything and I got photos mixed up and then I forgot a day or two and gave up. Thats pretty sad, I quit way too easily sometimes. This year will be better!

Sadly, tomorrow, my siblings go back to Ut. so we’ll be spending our last day with them until next time. It always makes me sad to see the holidays go and real life start up again. Ho hum…

I hope you all had a lovely New Years!

Hello 2012

1 Jan

2012

If you can tell, I tend to get a little carried away and set way too many resolutions, but I just can’t help myself. I figured at least this year I would set some goals that can be accomplished quickly. What usually ruins my resolutions is setting ones that end with “everyday.” Those are the hardest.

I was reading another blog I love and she asked “what word or phrase we wanted 2012 to represent and that got me thinking?

What is this year going to be for you? What phrase or quality do you want to live this year by?

I’ve put a lot of thought into it and this year I chose “Live In The Moment.” To often I tend to think, when we get a house it’ll be great, or when we make more money it’ll be perfect and all the other phrases that too often keep me living in the future. This year I will be grateful for the Moment!

Happy New Year Ya’ll!

Make 2012 the BEST!

Are You Ready?

28 Dec

I’m ready…

At least I think I’m ready…

For what you ask? The New Year! I’ve been thinking a lot about New Year’s resolutions and what I’m going to tackle this year. I’m not totally sure of  what resolutions I want to set, I’ve got a couple in mind but I don’t want to set too many because then it gets unrealistic and crazy.

Hmmm….

I’m excited though and eagerly looking forward to the New Year!

I will definitely be sharing some of these resolutions, because sharing them will help keep me motivated. So stay tuned for my list, since I know your dying to know what I want to accomplish this year. ha ha I’m only joking, but really come back and help keep me working and stay motivated, I could use the help. 🙂

So what kinds of things do you want to work on for 2012?

O Christmas Tree

Merry Christmas!

I just LOVE Christmas time, it’s going to be extremely hard to take my tree down and go back to “regular” life. I hope your Christmas is wonderful!

Have fun, stay warm and cozy!
