Okay so NYC was AMAZING! Sadly we didn’t get to stay very long and my husband had to work most of the time but we still crammed some tourist fun in. Here’s our trip in mostly pictures:

It was SO windy up there! I loved it!
Well I was in NYC and now I’m back in Charlotte awaiting a hurricane that sounds scary. We’ve decided to stay put until after it hits so were not stuck on the road when it comes through. I’m eagerly awaiting my return to Austin to see my puppy! Got ourselves a flashlight, water, snacks and a cozy hotel.

Thanx Veronika and thankfully I’m happy to report Irene did absolutely nothing to us. I guess we were too far inland. I was just nervous because we’re traveling and I don’t know the area very well!

I totally hear ya, we didn’t get to do a whole lot because it was more of business trip for my husband, but having him there made it so much more fun! I hope you get to bring your man along next time. : )
